The girls picked Aunt Darcie to spotlight this week. It was fun to learn more about her and try some new things.
Aunt Darcie lives in Elk Grove, California.
We learned the letter "D" and her favorite color is yellow
Her favorite thing for dinner is Chipotle Beef Taquitos from the book "Our best bites". We hadn't tried this recipe and it was so fun. The girls really liked it. We made extra and froze them for later :)
Her favorite thing to do is play with her kids- either reading books, making a craft or playing outside. The picture above, Matt and the girls went and played at the beach. They had a lot of fun!!
Favorite thing for lunch is Pizza. This is a favorite for the girls too.
Favorite dessert is Mint Brownies from the same book- Our best bites. We love these too- YUM, YUM!!
Favorite story in the scriptures is about Daniel and choosing to eat good foods. This picture is Daniel refusing the king to drink his wine.
Favorite children's book- Mrs McNosh and the great big squash. The girls liked reading this book too.
Favorite subject in school was science.
Aunt Darcie is home and a wonderful mother of 3kids but also works as a Speech Therapist.
It was really fun to learn more about Aunt Darcie.
